Questions people ask
What does an AI consultant do for a practice?
I find where admin work is eating your time, like notes, phone calls, prior auths, and intake, and show you which AI tools can help and which can't. You get a written plan, and I can help you set it up and get your staff using it.
Is AI safe to use with patient information?
It can be, if you choose and set up tools carefully. Many popular AI tools aren't set up for sensitive data by default. I check how each tool handles patient data before I recommend it. Final compliance decisions stay with you and your advisors.
How much does AI consulting cost?
Cost depends on the scope and nature of the work, and every organization is different. We start with an assessment, which ends with a Key Findings Report. That report shows what the work would involve, so I can give you clear details on scope and cost. The complimentary 15-minute consult is a first discovery conversation to see if we're a good fit.
What happens in the 15-minute consult?
You tell me what's slowing you down. I ask a few questions. Together we decide whether an assessment makes sense. No sales pitch, and if I'm not the right fit, I'll tell you.
Do I have to change my current software?
Usually not. We start with the tools you already use. If a change would really help, I'll explain why and you decide.
Will AI replace my staff?
The goal is to take repetitive work off your team so they can focus on the work that matters, not to replace people. You and your staff stay in charge of every decision.
How do you decide where AI should help first?
I start with how your work actually runs today. I look for tasks that repeat, eat up hours, or hold things up. Then I pick the ones where AI can help right away and leave the rest for later.
How do you make sure AI answers can be trusted?
A person checks the work. I help you set up steps where your team reviews what AI produces before it goes out, and we test the setup before anyone relies on it.
How does my team learn to use the new tools?
I show them in plain language, using their own daily tasks as the examples. I stay involved after launch to answer questions and fix what isn't working.
What training do you have in AI consulting?
I'm trained in the AI Assisted Consultant Certification program and the Entrepreneur Sprint. I'm also a physician and have run my own practice, so I know how busy practices work.
